These were great at a great price. The battery pack is very small, so it is easy to hide under vase filler. I used for wedding decor on the guest tables. The only reason I rated at 4 stars is because one of them did not work. It is the remote control that is the bee's knees with these lights. They can be used anywhere. I particularly like them shoved into a glass container with a top and with something like river stones or glass pebbles to cover the battery pack, and used outdoors for patio lights and all turned with the remote. Again, the remote. I would not buy battery operated fairy lights ever in the future without a remote.Horrible broken out of the box.Worst product.These were perfect. I used them to wrap around a few cone hanging Christmas decorations for our porch that come waaay cheaper w/out lights! Scoped these out and LOVE the 8 different affects AND the TIMER!!
